Production Simple Announces Old Forester’s Paristown Hall Partnership and Company Expansion

Louisville, KY-based Promoter Production Simple announced today that it will be the exclusive booker for Old Forester’s Paristown Hall. The mid-sized general admission venue, owned and operated by The Kentucky Center, is 28,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 2,000 patrons. It is located near East Broadway in the Paristown Neighborhood in Louisville, KY and it is part of a $28 million arts and cultural district development project. The venue's programming has yet to be announced, but Production Simple promises to bring an eclectic mix of today's top emerging and established musical talent. “We're so excited to be a part of this project. There is indeed nothing like it. Beyond filling a void in the market for this size venue, Old Forester’s Paristown Hall is the realization of years of teamwork between Production Simple and our friends at The Kentucky Center.  This collaborative effort is just as much a GA club as it's a public art center showcasing all that's exciting in the contemporary live space,” said Billy Hardison, co-owner of Production Simple and Headliners Music Hall

The venue, which broke ground in 2017, is slated to open in summer of 2019 with show announces coming in the next couple of months. “The Kentucky Center is excited to develop a flexible space with Production Simple for standing room events that merge contemporary and fine arts programming where touring artists can also create beyond the stage,” said Dan Forte, Vice President of Programming for The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.

In addition to the exciting news regarding Louisville’s newest music venue, Production Simple also announced some internal changes to help support their continued growth. The regional concert promotion company has been solely operated by partners Billy Hardison, Lizi Hagan, Joe Argabrite and John Grantz, for nearly 15 years. This year they are welcoming several new staff members including Scotty Haulter as their new Director of Operations. Haulter brings 30+ years of global experience in Booking, Artist Management, Venue Production Management along with Tour and Production Management. He has toured with artists such as The Wallflowers, Jakob Dylan, Afghan Whigs, The Jonas Brothers, Barenaked Ladies, Smash Mouth and Denis Leary— just to name a few. “We’ve been working with Scotty on our shows for the past five years or more. His industry experience is unparalleled, and we are thrilled to have him come on as a full-time member of our team,” said Joe Argabrite, co-owner of Production Simple and Headliners Music Hall. “I am excited for the opportunity to officially join an incredible and respected company as part of the Production Simple family, as well as being a part of the continuing growth, not only of Production Simple, but also of the Louisville Arts Community. I look forward to seeing and working with all of my touring brothers and sisters as they come to Louisville, to make their experience ‘The Greatest,’” said Haulter.

Production Simple will also be welcoming Headliners Music Hall into their fold. The two entities have shared owners, but they have always operated as separate companies. Production Simple will now be the exclusive booker and promoter for the venue. “Streamlining our businesses just made sense,” said Billy Hardison, co-owner of Production Simple and Headliners Music Hall. “We have a shared goal and a growing number of venues and shows. We wanted to start 2019 on a united front by bringing everything together to maximize our team’s efforts.” Production Simple expects to promote close to 250 shows in 2019.
