The series, entitled Simple 5 Series will act as both a vehicle to expose emerging artists as well as an opportunity to position more established artists
in a bigger room in front of more people. Simple 5 Series will never command more than a $5 ticket (18+). Tickets will be available in advance at ear X-tacy and www.ticketweb.com. Tickets, of course, will be available at the door.
Headliners Music Hall will be scaled to suit on a case-by-case basis, depending on the expected turn out and the intimacy level required to allow each artist to put on the best show possible.
Production Simple’s Billy Hardison feels that “this a great opportunity for national and local bands alike to perform in Louisville’s premiere music venue where under normal circumstances they would be unable. Thanks to support from the venue, we are going to be able to pull off some really cool shows for cheap. It isn’t necessarily going to change the amount of money these bands would make in a smaller venue, but their exposure will be greatly increased.”
